Questions about mosquito netting?
Mosquito netting is five-sided, with the base being your access point and also a potential access point for the insects trying to use you as a blood host. Head netting is almost useless, since the blood suckers can often reach your sweat-soaked skin through various direct means or gaps at the neck. I have watched black flies find the gap at the top of a zipper and line-up all night to crawl through to take a bite out of tent occupants. The nice part about hiking in high tundra areas is that frost and dry conditions kill pests during most of the year.
