Why can't I see my retweet?

Ok, I tweeted something to ZENDAYA COLEMAN, my friend said she retweeted me back but I couldn't see it in my timeline or anywhere. I had to go to her page and check her tweets. Can anyone help me why it hides all people who retweet me?
