Am I on the track for an Ivy league school?
Nothing you do in middle school matters. Colleges (Ivies and really any other colleges you apply to) will NEVER see your middle school grades. If you put your extracurriculars and awards that you got in middle school on your college application, college admissions officers will basically laugh at you. Colleges are interested in what you are doing in high school, specifically 10th though 12th grade (even 9th grade isn't critical for college admissions). It is good to prepare yourself and get a feel for what you are interested in so that you know what activities, academics, ect to pursue in high school, but you don't want to burn yourself out! Slow and steady wins the race. So don't worry about it. Enjoy middle school while you still can, high school is much harder and much more stressful.
