Duke 3D force closes when in 32 bit mode?

I installed the HRP v1.4 and when I switch it to 32 bit it force closed. I've tried switching the resolution but it force closed still. I'm thinking I didn't install the HRP correctly??? If anyone can give me step by step instructions or a link for this that would be awesome. Thanks!
