Can i get braces...? 10 points for best answer!?

Im going to the ortho tuesday to see if i need braces (which i do.) im missing my right K9 tooth and I have an overbite. im 12 years old and still need to lose 8 teeth. i have a retainer. i have small gaps between some of my teeth. also, what colors of braces should i get? im white but im really tan right now. i have light blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. i have light freckles on my nose and under my eyes. im really tall (5'6 and about 80 pounds). thanks!
