How do I reword my introductory paragraph?

I will be discussing am important time for African American. I will be discussing three important individuals that were very instrumental that created music during the 1920's. I will also be discussing how jazz was cherished by the city of Harlem. Just remember the piano helped "bridge the gap" between the lower and upper classes.
