Should i workout for shorter or longer periods of time?

Im trying to get as big as possible this summer and i want to find a good workout but the ones ive been looking at are very different. I was looking at Jay Cutler's workout and its really short but then i started looking at some other bodybuilders like Ronnie Coleman and his workouts were much longer. I just want a good workout that is going to give me big gains this summer
